Marcel Proust continued to work on his novel until his final illness in the autumn of 1922 forced him to break off, and the book was not truly published when he held the record. (This book was not done as one novel as asked in the new guideline, The last three of the seven volumes contain oversights and fragmentary or unpolished passages, as they existed only in draft form at the death of the author; the publication of these parts was overseen by his brother Robert. It's not a book or novel unless it is bound when submitting to you GWR.

Also, 1927 should be listed as the true date, not 1912, at the date of all data given and even then all books have only been able to be manufactured for the last 20 years.
